Single Implants

There are times when only a single tooth is missing either in the front or back of the mouth. A single implant is placed into the empty space followed by a cap or crown several months later.

Advantages:

The teeth adjacent to the space do not have to be reduced as in conventional bridgework, thus maintaining the integrity of these adjacent teeth for many years.

A removable partial denture for a single tooth does not have to be worn.
