Multiple Implants

When several teeth are missing, several implants are placed simultaneously followed by placement of crowns or bridges several months later.

Advantages:

The adjacent teeth from the space do not have to be reduced as in conventional bridgework, thus maintaining the integrity of these adjacent teeth for many years.
The new crowns or bridges do not rely on the strength of the adjacent teeth.
A removable partial denture does not have to be worn.
